Kengugró Kalotaszegi Tábor 2025
1. Kengugro Australian Hungarian Folkloric Ensemble (hereafter referred to as the “organisers”) reserves the right to cancel, alter or delay any camp, accommodation or activity where forced to do so by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to serious illness, severe weather, industrial action, participant danger or circumstances which would subject the organisers or participants to unreasonable hardship.
2. All information provided in any literature or media produced by or on behalf of the organisers is correct at the time of publishing. It is given in good faith and is intended as a guide to accommodation, activities and facilities available and may change without notice.
3. Parents and guardians will ensure that those under the age of 18 years within their care will always be appropriately supervised by a responsible adult during the camp.
4. Alcohol may be consumed only by persons 18 years of age or over. Under no circumstances will anyone intoxicated by alcohol (or any other substance with an intoxicating effect) be permitted to participate in any activities of programmed tuition.
5. For the comfort, health and safety of all concerned, tobacco smoking (including e-cigarettes and vaping) is prohibited during any of the programmed activities. Tobacco smoking will only be permitted in designated smoking areas. Tobacco smoking will only be permitted by persons 18 years of age or over.
6. Dormitories and camping areas are designated rest areas for sleep, rest and peaceful enjoyment. Under no circumstances is excessive noise, singing or playing of musical instruments permitted in these areas.
7. The organisers reserve the right to have removed from the camp any person who in their judgement is found to be unmanageable or a danger or hindrance to the safety or enjoyment of others. In this event no refund will be given. Any additional costs and liability involved in removing the participant will be fully borne by the participant.
8. In the event of any damages caused by participants to property or equipment, the participant will be responsible for and charged the full replacement cost. Any damages must be reported to the organisers immediately.
9. In the event of any personal injury or death caused by participants to third parties, the participant agrees to indemnify the organisers in respect to any and all claims or proceedings brought against the organiser or participant.
10. It is the responsibility of all participants to ensure that all areas (including buildings, dormitories and camp sites) used are left in the same clean and tidy condition as they were found.
11. Participants must be physically capable of taking part in the camp and its activities and free from any illness or conditions that may render the camp and its activities hazardous to them. All participation is at the participant’s own risk.
12. All illicit substances are prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authorities. Drugs brought into the camp for medicinal purposes must be accompanied by a doctor’s prescription and must be presented to camp management upon request.
13. Any and all photographs, videos or other recorded media may be used by the organisers for promotional purposes without any payment or compensation being offered and without the prior approval of the featured parties.
14. All late payments including balances may incur an administration fee of $50 and/or lapse of booking and/or loss of deposit.
15. Cancellations must be made in writing to the organisers. In the event of cancellation the following charges will apply:
— 49 days (7 weeks) or more before the commencement date – loss of deposit;
— 48 to 28 days (4 weeks) before the commencement date – 50% of total cost;
— 27 to 14 days (2 weeks) before the commencement date – 75% of total cost;
— 13 days or less before the commencement date – 100% of total cost;
— On or after the commencement date – 100% of total cost.
16. The organisers do not accept liability for:
— Loss of or damage to any personal property belonging to or travelling with the participant, including but not limited to money, jewellery, electronic items, musical instruments or clothing;
— Losses or additional expenses to participants due to cancellations, alterations and delays in camp programming, activities, accommodation or circumstances beyond the organisers control including but not limited to weather, travel services, industrial action, civil unrest, quarantine or any other cause;
— Personal injury or death of any participant howsoever caused unless by proven negligence of the organisers demonstrated at law.
17. If you have a complaint or other feedback during the camp please notify the attending camp representative who will be made known to you at the camp’s commencement. The organisers will do their utmost to find a speedy and mutually satisfactory solution to any reasonable request or problem.
