CHILDREN U14s - Music Camp - Dedicated kids program
Dedicated children’s activities will be happening during the music camp (12–16 April).
Kids activities during the music camp include:
• Arts & craft
• Dance, singing & games
• Music: violin, viola, cello & double bass (byo instrument) Ensemble-style class for beginners / intermediate teaching, dependent on numbers.
Sat 12 Apr - bump-in from 3pm, music camp begins, táncház (kids for the 30 mins)
Sun 13 Apr - kids activities throughout the day, evening táncház (kids for the first 30 mins)
Mon 14 Apr - kids activities throughout the day, evening táncház (kids for the first 30 mins)
Tue 15 Apr - kids activities throughout the day, evening táncház (kids for the first 30 mins), music camp ends
Wed 16 Apr - REST DAY, music-only participants leave, no teaching, dancers arrive, evening táncház
Teachers
Arts & Craft - Csilla Peredi-Blaskó and Réka Péterffy from Sydney Hungarian School
Dance & Singing - Zoltán Varga ‘Zoli’ and Katalin András ‘Kata’, professional dance teachers from Transylvania
Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass - Csűrös Band from Transylvania
Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Students who are currently attending Sydney Hungarian School can ask Csilla Peredi-Blaskó or Réka Péterffy to be their guardians at the music camp. Please note, you must ask them to sign your registration form in the appropriate box.
Families are welcome to camp, book dormitory accommodation or bring their children to and from each day.
For each family bringing a child to participate (DAY PASS ONLY), we offer free entry for one parent. If both parents wish to attend, we ask the 2nd parent purchase a non-participant ticket.

CHILDREN U14s - Dance Camp - Unstructured kids activities
Kids and families are welcome to attend the dance camp (16–21 April) however the activities will be less structured.
There will be some craft activities throughout the day as well as an hour of children’s táncház early every evening.
Wed 16 - REST DAY, no teaching, dancers arrive, evening táncház (kids for the first 30 mins)
Thu 17 - unstructured kids activities, evening táncház (kids for the first 30 mins)
Fri 18 (Good Friday) - unstructured kids activities, evening táncház (kids for the first 30 mins)
Sat 19 (Easter Saturday) - unstructured kids activities, evening táncház (kids for the first 30 mins)
Sun 20 (Easter Sunday) - unstructured kids activities, evening táncház (kids for the first 30 mins), dance camp ends
Mon 21 (Easter Monday) - breakfast, bump out
We encourage families to come and enjoy the atmosphere of the camp, immersing children in Hungarian song and dance.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. The teachers at the camp take no responsibility for the actions or whereabouts of children at the camp.
